Start with the problem. Let the outcome determine the method.

Prysm begins with what must become clear, then determines the expertise, information, acquisition method, workflow, and deliverable around that requirement.

One connected path

Complexity In.
Clarity Out.

This is a thinking model, not a rigid sequence. Different engagements place different weight on each stage, but the objective stays the same: understand what the work must support and build the response around it.

  1. 01

    Understand

Define the operating context, problem, objective, constraints, stakeholders, and decision the work must support.

  2. 02

    Gather

Use what already exists and obtain only what is missing through review, discovery, interviews, analysis, or field collection where required.

  3. 03

    Structure

Turn fragmented information into coherent processes, systems, requirements, datasets, visual records, or other usable outputs.

  4. 04

    Deliver + Sustain

Provide something people can use, then support it through implementation, monitoring, review, recurring documentation, or updates where useful.

Keep the context

Information becomes more useful when its meaning stays attached.

Information without context quickly loses value. A process, requirement, record, interview, dataset, image, or field observation is useful only when its meaning can still be understood.

Prysm keeps information connected to its source, purpose, place, time, scope, decision, and operating context—so it remains understandable as it moves through the work.

A safer vantage point

Distance can be a useful tool.

When the information needed can be collected from a safer or less disruptive vantage point, remote acquisition may help reach difficult, elevated, confined, unstable, or otherwise undesirable viewpoints while reducing unnecessary personnel exposure.

Useful after delivery

The deliverable should keep working after the engagement ends.

The format changes with the need. The standard does not: what Prysm leaves behind should be clear enough to implement, review, communicate, maintain, or use for the next decision.

  • Coherent

Structured so the parts make sense together.

  • Traceable

Connected to its source, context, purpose, and scope.

  • Usable

Delivered for implementation, review, communication, or the next decision.
